BAQUBA / NINA / - A village in Khanaqin countryside, northeast of Baquba, capital of Diyala province, witnessed a wave of displacement of families due to threats and the growing activity of ISIS.
A local source in Diyala told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that twelve families have been displaced from the village (Ramadan) in the countryside of Khanaqin, after the security checkpoints nearby in recent days have been subjected to repeated attacks by ISIS terrorists."
He added that the increase of ISIS activity will lead to a full wave of displacement of the villagers, unless there are real security treatments to eliminate the threats of ISIS."/ End
