Baquba, (NINA) - A local official in Diyala has warned of ISIS gatherings on the border between Diyala and Salahuddin provinces.
Mohammed al-Obeidi, head of the local council of Edhaim district told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) today that ISIS has become a terrorist bloc in Mtaibijah basin, which is one of the most dangerous areas on the border between Diyala and Salahuddin and a key crossing for the infiltration of extremists to the provinces of Diyala, Kirkuk and Salahuddin.
He added that the movement of these terrorist blocs has become openly on the border between Diyala and Salahuddin and is becoming more and more dangerous and may lead to the collapse of the security file in Diyala if there are no military moves to hit the main stronghold of ISIS in Mtaibijah, which has become a gathering point for the terrorists of the organization. / End
