الزراعة تحذر من موجة سيول مقبلة ستجتاح عدداً من مناطق البلاد

بغداد/نينا/ حذرت وزارة الزراعة، اليوم الأحد، من موجة سيول مقبلة ستجتاح عدداً من مناطق البلاد، فيما دعت وزارة الموارد المائية إلى وضع خطة لنقل مياه السيول عبر ممرات آمنة للأنهر والبحيرات.

وقال المتحدث باسم الوزارة حميد النايف في تصريح صحفي: إن"الأيام المقبلة ستجتاح السيول الآتية من المرتفعات عددا من مناطق البلاد"، لافتاً الى أن "المحاصيل الزراعية وصلت في الوقت الحالي الى مراحل الحصاد، وهنالك تخوف من تعرض بعض الأراضي الزراعية لموجة السيول".

وأضاف أن "العراق حقق زراعة أكثر من 16 مليون دونم من محاصيل متنوعة ،من بينها الحنطة والشعير"، داعياً "وزارة الموارد المائية لوضع خطة بنقل مياه السيول عبر ممرات آمنة للأنهر والبحيرات لعدم تضرر الأراضي الزراعية".

واوضح أن "موجة السيول ستأتي من المناطق المرتفعة نتيجة ذوبان الثلوج"./انتهى9
