A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The gunmen, who belong to al-Qaeda, were killed by unidentified gunmen in Hawija west of Kirkuk, which indicates the persistence of tension and conflict between the group Ansar al-Sunna and al-Qaeda in Kirkuk."
The source added: "a joint force of police and army cordoned off the scene and transported the bodies to the forensic medicine department."
It is mentioned that the areas of southern Kirkuk saw armed clashes between al-Qaeda and Ansar al-Sunna led to the deaths of a number of them. / End
