Basra / NINA / - Three activists in Basra survived, this afternoon, from an assassination attempt that they were exposed to by unknown gunmen, while two of them were wounded in the center of the province.
A source stated that unidentified gunmen traveling in a saloon car shot at a vehicle carrying three civilian activists,” and two of them, including a female activist, were wounded “while they were stopping at the Kut Al-Hajjaj intersection in central Basra.” They were subsequently transferred to the hospital for treatment.
It is noteworthy that gunmen assassinated last Friday the civilian activist Tahseen Osama in his internet office in Al-Geneina area, in the center of Basra, and fled./ End
