Baghdad / NINA /- The joint forces began, on Wednesday, a security operation in Khanaqin.
A statement by the popular crowd, that /NINA/ received a copy of it, stated that the 23, 20, and 110 brigades in Diyala Operations Command for the popular crowd, the commandos regiment in the command and the Khanaqin Police Directorate began, this morning, to carry out a raid and search operation in the villages of Imam Abbas, Alaywa and Al-Maadan in the Khanaqin district to search for the remnants of ISIS.
He added that, the popular crowd and the police are making progress in the operation. / End
