In a statement, the Coalition affirmed "its steadfast and supportive stance is to stabilize Iraq and move towards national options in forming the government within the constitutional contexts."
It added: "As it reaffirms its adherence to the foundations of national unity in front of the challenges facing our country and our Iraqi people, at the same time affirms its commitment to the unity of the political ranks, in order to overcome the difficult stage and the great risks that the country suffers on the health, security, economic and political levels."
The coalition indicated that it is in this context that it places its interests that the candidate for Prime Minister, who want voting for his government in the House of Representatives, should have the approval and support of the political forces responsible for the nomination, and that he enjoys acceptance at the national level. It affirmed its support for the agreement of the political blocs concerned to nominate Mustafa Al-Kadhemi as PM and the formation of the new government.
