Demonstrations for school students roam the streets of Babylon
Hilla / NINA / - Babylon province students demonstrated on Monday to protest the violence against demonstrators and demand the resignation of Prime Minister Dr. Adel Abdul Mahdi.
The protester student Hussein Mohammed said that all students in his junior high school and students in the province participated in the civil sit-in called for by the coordination across the province, pointing out that their demands are to get good education opportunities and an educational environment that allows them a better future.
On the other hand, the Deputy of the Teachers' Union in Babylon Thaer Wahid said that the union will go ahead with the civil sit-in for four days and that it will respond strongly to any attempt to pressure or threaten students or teaching staff, pointing out that the sit-ins will continue until the implementation of demands./ End
