Baghdad / NINA/ Al-Bayan newspaper headed by Yasin Majid, the media adviser of the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said that "the Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem arrive Baghdad today for talks with Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, regarding the relations between the two countries and the latest developments in Syria.
The newspaper added that al-Maliki headed a meeting yesterday of the Iraqi National Security Council, which comprised the ministers of foreign minister, interior, finance, defense, justice and the national security adviser as well as a number of senior officers and security officials. "
The newspaper added "during the meeting the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and its impact on the security situation in Iraq, had been discussed."/End
