BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of Ahrar parliamentary bloc, Bahaa al-Araji called for Peshmerga forces to cooperate with the Federal Government and not to override them.
He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / " we have not heard from the security leaders about the final altercations that took place between the security forces in the federal government and the Peshmerga forces, but we heard them from the politicians only, so it is necessary for the security chiefs to clarify this matter."
He added: "There are some altercations by the Peshmerga on a lot of the territory of the Federal Government, which must be under its control."
Al-Araji called on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki not to accept any override on the federal government and its constitutional actions. "
