Police finds arms and munitions remnant of war in Wasit.

Wasit / NINA / Directorate of Police detachments in Wasit province found amounts of ordnance in a number of areas of the province.

The Director General of Wasit Police, Major General Hussein Abdul Hadi Mohammed told / NINA / said: "Police found various amounts of ordnance in Numaniya, swaira, Azizia areas based on reports from citizens."

He added: "Police found / 12 / mortar shells and / 7 / SBGq fillings in the city of Numaniya, in addition to the Strela missiles and mortar shells 82 mm and medium-light munitions in Azizia and swaira ."

Mohammed said: "All remnants of war that were found were transferred to special places to get them away from armed groups." / End
