BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari discussed with his British counterpart William Hegg the arrangements travel facilitates and movement between the two countries as well as the tips and advices travel of the British in Iraq.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press statement that "Hegg, who received Zebari in London, said during the meeting that the British Embassy will soon open a center in Baghdad to receive British visa applications directly from Baghdad."
The statement added that: "a number of regional issues have been discussed during the meeting, particularly the developments in the Syrian crisis and the nuclear program of Iran as well as the Iraq's riser role in regional, Arab and international affairs."
During the meeting, the bilateral relations and ways of developing them have been reviewed, through launching a higher ministerial Commission to follow-up activating the relations according to common interests and make use of the knowledge and the British experience in the construction and development projects. / End
