Baghdad (NINA) – Finance Ministry's Advising Body discussed a number of issues, including the electronic government and mechanism to implement it in the Ministry, for a better way in serving the citizens.
A statement issued on Monday, July 9, by the Finance Ministry's Media Bureau, said that in its meeting chaired by the Minister of Finance, Rafi' al-Essawi, the Body discussed the issue of training and upgrading the performance of the ministry's staff .
In the meeting, the Minister stressed the necessity to set a well-advanced Taxation System through benefiting from the ones being adopted by neighboring countries.
The statement added that the Body discussed the possibility of signing a memo of understanding between Iraqi Customs Authorities and its counterpart in the United Arab Emirates. / End.
