Baghdad (NINA) - Leader in the Iraqiya Slate, Dhafir Al Ani, criticized the release of Ali Daqduq leader in the Lebanese Hezbollah, who is accused of involvement of sectarian killings in Iraq, while the Iraqi government issues a memorandum to the Interpol for the arrest of Vice President Tariq Al Hashimi.
He told NINA today "there is a double standard policy adopted in issues affecting the country's security. At the time they release the terrorist Ali Daqduq from Iraqi prisons, an arrest warrant is issued against Vice President Tariq Al Hashimi, who lost his brothers' lives for Iraq."
Ani described these measures as "sectarian and political discrimination committed against patriots in Iraq, and a blatant model for the politicization of the Iraqi judiciary."
