Baghdad (NINA) – Jasim Mohammed Jaafar, Minister of Youth and Sports, headed to Iran leading a delegation on a several days visit aiming at activating and implementing the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
The ministry’s advisor for sports affairs, Hassan Ali Kareem, said in a press statement “the visit aims at enhancing youth and sports ties, visiting the sports facilities and to get acquainted with the Iranian expertise in this field.”
The MOU includes means to support and strengthen fruitful ties in youth field through visits exchanging of experts and officials and to hold workshops as well as participating in youth conferences and gatherings and to hold a joint youth week. /End/
