Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council (SIIC), Ammar al-Hakeem called on the foreign media to concentrate on positive sides when dealing with Iraqi issues.
In a meeting on Monday, Aug. 22, with a Turkish delegation, consisted of journalists, academics, artists and researchers, Hakeem criticized the foreign media for concentrating on reflecting political struggle and terrorist attacks, being Iraq’s only picture, leaving the important picture on life, work and progress, regardless of all difficulties.
Hakeem stressed the importance for journalists to convey what he sees in fact and normal life that prevails Iraqi cities and towns, as well as to concentrate on positive developments realized in Iraq. / End.
